Foundational Beliefs
Text Box: The best environment, the best parenting in all the world, is no absolute guarantee that one’s children will make the right choices. Children are given a free will.

God is sovereign in the lives of both parents and their children and will direct their lives according to his purpose. 

Children are given a free will and therefore, may choose to reject their parent’s spiritual beliefs and moral values. 

God holds children accountable for their choices and for the consequences of those choices, despite any mistakes their parents may have made in raising them.

God will not force children to return to Him.  He will allow children the choice of continuing in their destructive lifestyle.

Conviction

Parents cannot convict their children of sin nor convert them.   Parents are powerless to change the behavior of their children.

Love

Parents have a responsibility to interact with their rebellious child in a way that demonstrates the love of God.
